Menopause Symptom Checklist
I haven’t done one of these for a while and I th I haven’t done one of these for a while and I thought it would be fun to introduce myself again to newer followers and to those who have stuck with me but notice that my feed has changed a little bit this last year.

A lot of our journey over the past few years has been dominated by our youngest son’s education and SEN journey. However, he’s reached an age where I have to respect his privacy and allow him to join in my feed when he chooses (usually when it means he can show off new @longhornshearingofficial @gibsons_countrywear_ purchases 👍🏻).

As well as that, we are making the move from being city dwellers, to live our dream in rural Yorkshire, renovating a grade II listed Victorian farmhouse with woodland. So there will be a lot more of our journey on my feed.

Thanks again for being with us on our journey and here’s to new adventures… with hopefully some new (fluffy/furry) guests joining us nice we’ve settled in!
I’m a little late posting, so please forgive. I’m a little late posting, so please forgive.

When you realise that it’s the first year you won’t spend with your eldest for his birthday… I couldn’t find a crying face to add at the end. He was so understanding.

It’s hard when stuff gets in the way. It’s not only the house, but being a parent of a child with higher needs means that they come first. The focus always has to be them and at times like this it breaks my heart for his siblings, as we’d love nothing more than to go see Hen for his birthday.

Anyway, it’ll soon be Christmas and all my boys will be home 🥰🥰🥰
Not being in the house by Christmas is unthinkable Not being in the house by Christmas is unthinkable and it’s one of the only reasons I’ve lasted in this flat for so long! There are so many things riding on us being in before then including enough room for us all comfortably when the two eldest are on hols/leave, possible new school for the youngest and of course Christmas (in albeit a very minimalist form than normal) in some form or other with us all.

Bearing in mind we’re only on first fix electrics then it’s gonna be tight, but I literally don’t care if there are bare floors and walls. Only need our beds, sofas, TV and a fridge LOL.

Please keep everything crossed for us, as we all need this 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
We take today to remember those who have served an We take today to remember those who have served and who still serve. To those who lost their lives so that we may have ours. To those who fought and returned home with scars both visible and invisible, physical and psychological. To those who were conscripted, to those who chose to serve and those who now choose to serve, we thank you all for your service and will not forget!

To my boy, I’m so proud of you.

These past few years have been some of the toughes These past few years have been some of the toughest we’ve been through as a family. With a new chapter for us all, we are really hoping for some exciting and fun years ahead.

Time to spend together as a family and focusing on growth and making memories in our new home.
The downstairs toilet is a quirky little space and The downstairs toilet is a quirky little space and there isn’t a straight wall in it! I love the red stone flooring, that needs nothing more than a bloody good clean.

Excited to use the @naturepanel_uk in stone green on the bottom half of the wall. Fantastic product, perfect for high traffic area. Sustainably sourced, 100% waterproof and recyclable. Complimented by this super fun green animal wallpaper from @bandq_uk and @farrowandball Douter No.318 and antique brass fixings.

So impatient to be in the house so I can get stuck in and help with the renovation. Hate having to travel back up and down all the time. Hopefully by the end of this month we’ll have a couple of rooms habitable so we can make the move and get ‘settled’ before Christmas.
