Just to be completely upfront, we had already chos Just to be completely upfront, we had already chosen these panels for our bathrooms before they were very kindly gifted by Grant Westfield. As always, all opinions are completely our own, and we’ve shared our honest experience of using them in our home. If you’ve been wondering how we’ve managed to renovate three bathrooms in just a few weeks, this video explains exactly how. Instead of going down the traditional tiling route, we chose wall panels from @multipanel_it and @naturepanel_uk , and it’s been a total game-changer. Not only are the panels 100% waterproof and grout-free, making them incredibly easy to clean, but they can also be fitted much faster than tiles — even directly over existing tiles. That meant far less mess, less disruption, and getting these bathrooms usable much sooner than expected. 🔗 All products are linked Let me know what you think of our choices! Honestly, I wake up in the middle of the night wor Honestly, I wake up in the middle of the night worrying about all of these things! Even though I know that worrying never changes anything, I still find the self doubt in my head creeps in and I panic… Will the carpets I’ve chosen look okay and will the bedrooms sit alongside the landing and stairs carpet? Will the light fittings for the living room and music room actually arrive and look okay?! I’m 50/50 as to whether they will. I’m setting my expectations low, so that I might be pleasantly surprised. When IS the right time to move in. I’d move in tomorrow, but I get that having two bedrooms and bathrooms finished is the sensible thing to do! I just wanna be in… The blue in the guest suite is a specific tone of blue (@farrowandball Stiffkey - you guys know how much I love) and trying to find a wallpaper that matches the look I want, alongside being the right tone isn’t easy 🫣🫣🫣 Now that the living room has dried out and we know there isn’t a damp issue, then it’s all about whether to go with real wood parquet or LVT parquet? Help me guys 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
We’re so close to moving in, I can almost touch We’re so close to moving in, I can almost touch it! It’s still hard to only be there on a weekend, as so much happens when I’m not there. But also it does make going up on a Saturday quite exciting to see how much has been achieved in the past week. The living room is almost there. We need to get the floor laid (either wood parquet or LVT parquet) and the doors need to be rehung, and then it’s down to furnishings and the nice bit of making the dream come to life. We had a bit of a panic last week when I checked the furniture in the outbuildings, as there seems to be a bit of mould from what i could see, so we may have to see if that can be cleaned/treated before we can bring the furniture in. Luckily, bed-wise, then the beds we have here in the flat will be used in the new house, so at the very worst, we’ll be back to living in bedrooms initially. Just wanna get in now. Will do a more in-depth share of the design and moodboard for the living room for next Sunday afternoon. Make sure you set your notifications, so you don’t miss!
