Easter Table Decor

How Felicity Finds Lifestyle

I can’t believe that Easter is over again for a year. And what a fabulous weekend it has been, the weather has been perfect. It’s so nice to sit out in the garden again, and I saw the whole weekend through with only one glass of wine! Also, I discovered Frexinet 0.0% which if you haven’t had is fab, I chose Rose, as for me the bottle was less obvious to others that it was non-alcoholic. Sometimes it’s easier to pretend than have to explain or listen to the slightly condescending ‘oh aren’t you good’ that comes with not drinking. We shouldn’t have to explain but for some reason we do, I’m just choosing to abstain at the moment.

Anyway, I digress! I’m not sure if you saw my Easter table reel over on Insta? If not you can check it out here. My spring table has been up for over a month now, and so I simply freshened it up for Easter. See some pics below:

The bunny napkins were so simple to create and looked so cute! If you’d like to see just how simple then here’s my idea pin on Pinterest.

All you need is:

  • Napkin or fabric of your choice (preferably square)
  • Egg – I used plastic for this, but next year I’m going to look for/decorate wooden eggs
  • Napkin ring or ribbon – if you want to tie a ribbon then I suggest using a small rubber band or hairband to hold the napkin in place till you tie it.

But now that the table is cleared I have to decide what to do next… So I need some inspiration for what to do next. And what better way to find some inspiration than Pinterest. I could literally scroll on Pinterest for hours, it’s even more addictive than Instagram to me.

Here’s what caught my eye…

I do love the look of fresh flowers on the table but they only last so long, and with the fantastic range of faux flowers out there now, it does mean I can create a table setting that lasts that little bit longer, and can be reused again and again. I think I’m going to go with a floral look but with muted colours and grey greens. Time to go shopping! Let me know if you have any recommendations for shops to get faux flowers.
