So we fully moved in on Friday, but the house wasn So we fully moved in on Friday, but the house wasn’t quite in the state we were hoping for! But we have heating, running water (no showers as of yet 🫣) and two beds. Oh and TV if you don’t mind sitting on dining chairs to watch LOL… Happy move in day!
So this weekend the last of our stuff will be move So this weekend the last of our stuff will be moved from the flat and we will be fully moved in to the house 😱 And when I say fulled moved in, I just mean that there will be beds to sleep in. We do have some white goods but I’m not quite sure where they will be located as of yet 🤪 and we haven’t even ordered the kitchen LOL. Trying to fit all this in around work, with Sam and of course his annual review next week as we’re moving out of area, has been tough and I will admit the hubby and I have had our moments. But we’ll get there, and when we do, boy will it be worth it. What do you wanna see first when we get there tomorrow?!

It’s so close, it’s in touching distance! Two It’s so close, it’s in touching distance! Two bathrooms are now in full working order, and three bedrooms ready for a bed to go in. I’ve spent the afternoon being a little bit of a taxi as we now have a van to move the last of our stuff up to the house. But we don’t really have the space to leave it here, so we have to park it elsewhere overnight and then I need to ferry the OH back and forth 🤪 first and last thing. I’ve dismantled the solid oak bed that Sam is having in his bedroom, but boy that was a struggle with only a little screwdriver/alan key and not a lot of moving room. I can already feel my back twitching and the legs aching. Don’t tell the chiropractor 🫣🫣🫣🤪 Anyway thought I’d share the quick vision for the accessories going in the family bathroom, which has a very traditional/industrial feel to it. Is this a look you like?! I will soften it with the greenery as don’t want it looking too stark! Let me know what you think!
There are a lot of things I could look back on and There are a lot of things I could look back on and wonder ‘what if…’ but actually what is the point. What would it gain me now? Turns out I may not have had a prolapsed mitral valve after all, but I did have a hole in my heart. Turns out I love Marketing as a job. Turns out I love cooking… for fun. Turns out I wouldn’t have met my second husband if I hadn’t moved to London (and moved into Marketing) Turns out I have enough friends and family to remind me of what I don’t remember 🤣 Turns out I still struggle with this one, but I’m working on it! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Do you ever wonder what if? The guest bedroom and bathroom are really coming o The guest bedroom and bathroom are really coming on, which is lucky as it’s where we’ll occupy initially whilst we concentrate on finishing the ‘other half’ of the house which has the master bed and bath. The light that floods into this room is beautiful so I really wanted a clean and fresh feel in here. I was also really conscious that in the en-suite there was no natural light, so I wanted to continue that light and airy feel into the bathroom with a bit more depth. I fell in love with @farrowandball Stiffkey Blue after using in the downstairs WC in Westmead and knew I wanted to use somewhere in the new house. So when I was looking at a modern French farmhouse feel and found this vanity suite in Stiffkey from @victorianplumbinguk it seemed the perfect marriage. What do you think?!
